Hand drums
We also make unique hand drums, that can be played with a beater, tipper or just by hand. The bigger the drum, the deeper its tone.
The sturdy hoops are made of laminated pine; the rawhide coverings and string bindings are from locally sourced deer skins (red, fallow or sika). Handles are made out of deer antler or wood.
Drum sizes are 390 mm ($160) or 300 mm ($140).
We can custom make a braintanned carry bag if needed.
